children and adults. Writing and painting became her
vocation in retirement.
She has studied drawing and painting privately and at
The New York Botanical Garden. Her writing began in
workshops with a group of local poets and included
studying with published poets such as Judith Baumel.
Spending time with young children has inspired her to
begin writing and illustrating stories. Her efforts have
been supported by courses at The School of Visual
Arts, The Hudson Valley Writer's Group and her
present group Write On! (Westchester Children's
Writers and Illustrators).
